This winter the ICJS welcomed its first seminary intern, Benjamin M. Weiner. Ben is a seminary student at the Recon-structionist Rabbinical College in Philadelphia and is in the final semester of his training. Ben completed his undergraduate work at Columbia College, and subsequently studied Irish Lit-erature at Trinity College in Dublin, where he received his Masters in Philosophy. Ben has served as a volunteer for Rabbis for Human Rights in Jerusalem, a freelance writer, a freelance translator, and a high holidays cantor. His many experiences and talents make him a wonderful addition to the ICJS, and he will immerse himself in a variety of ICJS programs in the coming months. Ben will share his observations and insights in a set of contributions to the ICJS web site. Not only will he offer commentaries on some of the key challenges that are facing Jews and Christians, he will also profile a number of films that will be of interest to our varied constituencies. Click here to read Ben's article on the controversy surrounding the Tridentine Good Friday Prayer. Click here to see his movie reviews.
