He served for more than twelve years as a full-time nursing home chaplain at the Fairfax Nursing Center and for almost five years as a staff chaplain for the Hospice of Northern Virginia. He is a past president of the Northern Virginia Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. Rev. Dunn is the author of Hard Choices for Loving People: CPR, Artificial Feeding, Comfort Care, and the Patient with a Life-Threatening Illness.

The second part of the program will consist of two sessions on Thursdays, May 18 and May 25 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Bolton Street Synagogue. These sessions will continue the discussion and text study begun in February. The cost of both May sessions is $30.00.
