Revelation and the Authority of Sacred Scripture
A course taught by
Rosann Catalano, Christopher Leighton,
and Joel Zaiman
What is the authority of the Bible? Did God author the Bible? And if so, how … exactly? Fiery finger to tablet of stone? Induced trance of the sacred writer? What is the connection between the words of sacred Scripture and the divine reality to which they point? What makes the Bible "sacred"? How do Jews and Christians contend with these challenges? This mini-course will tackle these questions and more!
