Continuing Education Accreditation

Accreditation: This activity has been planned and im-plemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the Sheppard Pratt Health System and the Institute for Christian & Jewish Studies. The Sheppard Pratt Health System is accredited by the ACCME to provide contin-uing medical education for physicians. Sheppard Pratt Health System is recognized by the National Board for Certified Counselors. We adhere to NBCC Continuing Education Guidelines (Provider #5098). Sheppard Pratt Health System is authorized by the Board of Social Work Examiners of Maryland to offer continuing education for social workers. Sheppard Pratt Health System is author-ized by the State Board of Examiners of Psychologists as a sponsor of Continuing Education. Sheppard Pratt Health System maintains responsibility for the program.

Credit: Sheppard Pratt Health System designates this educational activity for a maximum of 6.0 Category 1 credits toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the activity. This activity is approved for 6.0 contact hours for National Certified Counselors (provider #5098), 6.0 contact hours in Cate-gory 1 for social workers, and 6.0 hours CEU's for psychologists.
