A noted clergyperson spoke pointedly about leadership: "If you are a leader, and nobody is following you, you are just taking a walk." In many religious and secular communities, there are "walkers" masquerading as "leaders." This study session will examine Jewish and Christian scriptures for the values and practices of effective, twenty-first century leadership across a variety of cultural contexts.
