ICJS Scripture Forum
2001-2002

The ICJS Scripture Forum is a group of Christian and Jewish clergy and educators who study texts together on a regular basis. Consisting of approximately fifteen invited members, the group meets for two hours every third week to look at both Christian and Jewish texts that illuminate key religious concepts. The Scripture Forum is facilitated by the ICJS Scholars, with presen-tations by both ICJS staff members and Scripture Forum participants.

During the 2001-2002 academic year, the Scripture Forum topic was "Sin and Repentance in Judaism and Christianity." ICJS Webmaster Janis Koch prepared notes of the Scripture Forum meetings, which we hope will capture for visitors to our Web site the gist and some
of the flavor of these lively discussions.
