Christians who take their Christianity seriously sometimes unwittingly light the fuses attached to theologically explosive materials -- notions passed down from one Christian generation to another for hundreds of years that pose difficulties in a religiously diverse world. "Flash Points" are essays intended to inform Christians of traditional understandings that require thoughtful reconsideration, especially in a post-Holocaust world.
