Alzheimer's Study Guide

We all need help dealing with end-of-life issues. The Institute for Christian & Jewish Studies believes that the interplay of diverse religious perspectives provides a fresh and challenging approach to these issues, making it possible for us to see them in a new light. For this reasons the ICJS sponsored a three-year project entitled Medicine, Mortality, and Morality. The result was an enriching interaction among Jews, Christians, and Muslims from the medical and religious communities.

The published Study Guide is distilled from that process. The issues raised by the theme of dying well were amplified by the challenges associated with Alzheimer’s disease.

To fully understand the issues discussed here, we do suggest you purchase a copy of the ICJS Alzheimer's Study Guide. All proceeds help us to continue the dialogue. You may purchase a PDF version of the guide for $10 through PayPal.

For multiple copies or for a printed version, please contact us at alzheimers@icjs.org.

Please visit our wiki, which contains excerpts from the Study Guide and and an invitation to continue the discussion. Please join us by telling your story, your concerns or your point of view.
